Steam Mode Units
There are two types of steam modes in steam ovens, one is steaming steam and the other is direct steam injection.
Early steam ovens, generally are steaming steam, is the kind of external plate type, a heating device at the bottom of the injection of water heating, thereby producing boiling steam, used for the internal pure steam function of the machine, this mode is a little bit of steam is very large, heating speed is also very fast, but sometimes too much steam but lead to make the food sold and taste are affected.
Direct injection steam is produced by transporting water from the tank to a special place where steam is produced, and then transported to the inside of the machine cavity in the form of a spray through a special pipe to produce steam outside the inner liner, which is sprayed into the inner cavity by a conduit, completely filling the inner cavity of the steam oven and replacing the original oxygen, sometimes because the amount of steam can be controlled, and the heating speed is fast and does not string taste.
Personally, I prefer direct steam, for making bread, too much steam may not be a good thing, but will be: “intentional into a bad thing”, or this point! Cleaning is too much trouble, before my home is the steam oven steam type steam, steam things really fast, the speed of steam. But the steam is fast, the water steam is very big, for steamed buns these, easy to drip water on the surface is not very good to see. And every time after steaming there is water at the bottom, every time cleaning is a bit of a problem, if not cleaned in time, not cleaned every other day, the smell of standing water out! Especially steamed seafood! Do not ask me why I know! This taste is very on the brain! But this is purely my personal use of outdated ideas, do not have to be too serious!

Water Tank Location
The following are the general locations of steam oven water tanks on the market today:
1. Located on the right side of the inner cavity of the steam oven.
Most steam ovens or steamer, are using a built-in water tank, the location of the water tank is generally on the right side of the box, such as when there is not enough water, you need to open the door to remove, so that a lot of steam will be dispersed, resulting in the production of food is not good taste or affect the production time, and even the possibility of high-temperature burns.
2. A single water tank located on top of the steamer oven with an external water tank.
Some steam ovens have the water tank on top of the oven, which is a good solution to the problem of having to open the door to add water, which affects the taste and timing of the food. External water tanks are also available in manual and electric versions. The manual water tank will be very easy to loosen after a long time, resulting in safety and health problems; while the external electric water tank in the manual water tank has been upgraded. The operation of the electric water tank is quite simple, a key press on the operating screen, the tank will slide out by itself, such a design allows the tank to be used for a long time without loosening or instability.
3. Dual tank design located at the top of the steamer oven.
Also located at the top position of the steam oven, the dual water tank design, one side is the waste water tank, the excess steam from the inner cavity goes to the waste water tank, and the water vapor will also be transferred to go to the waste water tank during self-cleaning. The other side is the water storage tank, clean water will be put into the storage tank, the water from the tank will go to the evaporator to eventually turn into steam. Both water tanks are very easy to take out, it is really convenient than the built-in water tank I used before. Directly take out the handle.
4. Located at the bottom of the hidden water tank.
The bottom of the steam oven, also belongs to the external water tank, the right side will also have a water box, but generally at the bottom of the position of the water tank capacity is generally not large, for example, Siemens CO265AGS0W this tank is only 0.8L. If you like to steam food partners, may be a little small, you need to add water several times.
